A 24/7 server is a server that runs 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, all along. The most servers are of this type and they have map cycles that include various (often 3rd party maps) maps.
If 24/7 is mentioned in a server name, it mostly refers to one or very few maps running in the mapcycle.
